FlumeAward – The Aramanth Enchantment The Amaranth Enchantment is a fun fairytale–a creative Cinderella-type story about a poor 15-year old orphan who falls in love with a prince. It’s got romance, suspense, lots of humor, and some good twists, and Lucinda, the main character, is spunky and adventurous. I think it’s got lots of appeal for girls who like fantasy and romance, although it hasn’t gone out much here yet. I would say, though, that it’s on the younger side, aimed more at middle and younger high school readers. For this reason, I wouldn’t put it on the list, unless the list needs a light fantasy for girls to round it out.
