I enjoyed this book very much. Well written and well developed characters that you really care about. I agree with Katie that the photographs really didn’t work with the story. The twist ending caught me by surprise as well. I could see where the romance trouble was easily, though. Definitely a book that will appeal to teens who like realistic fiction with an edge. Fans of We Were Liars and I was Here will be drawn to this book. Good option for the Flume, but maybe too close to We Were Liars to have on this year’s list. – Barb Ballou, Whipple Free Library, New Boston
