FlumeAward – Warm Bodies Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion
I liked this book; it was better than most zombie stories. Humor adds a nice element. Should we be concerned that there is a movie out (now on DVD)? Or perhaps that will encourage students to read the book? Kelly Budd, Keene High
This was quite different from other zombie books. I feel like this one had a lot more girl appeal. I would put this one the list it was very well done. -Britt HML
I like this story a lot, but with a release in 2010 and a movie release in Feb 2013, it almost feels too old and overdone to be on the list. I guess I’d rather put titles that are new and fresh on the list than one like this.

This is actually a love story that didn’t make me want to break out the violins or gag. Zombies filled with hope? Pretty cool. And a nice cross over book. Also, I borrowed it from the the public library and it was sitting on my desk at work and enough students said they wanted to read it that I pulled up Amazon and ordered a copy for the library. However, if it is a 2010 (C) isn’t it outside the parameters of this list.

I really like this story and the way it is told BUT I think it was published in 2010 and should not be on the list for 2015. -KA
