FlumeAward – Ask the Passengers Ask the Passengers by A.S.King
I really enjoyed this book–it got lots of starred reviews and I can see why. The main character is questionning her sexuality and the author illustrates how that isn’t always so black and white. I agree wholeheartedly with the Kirkus reviewer who wrote: "Quite possibly the best teen novel featuring a girl questioning her sexuality written in years." Think teens will enjoy this thoughtful book and I’d recommend as a Flume book.

I LOVED this book and would highly recommend it for the final list. Really well written yet also with normal, casual teen language. King brings up some really interesting things to consider. It is current but I think it will stand the test of time as well. Astrid is one of my favorite characters in recent memory–real, flawed, relatable. Caitlin, Bedford Public Library
