I really enjoyed this novel, but if you’ve read Picoult before, you’ll definitely know the ending ahead of time. There were so many elements of the story that resembled "The Green Mile," it was uncanny and, I thought, almost plagiaristic! The twists and turns will keep the reader engaged; the supernatural element is interesting, but again, just a bit predictable. If we really need an adult title with teen appeal, this one would work.
