City of Bones

FlumeAward – City of Bones Discussion page for City of Bones

This book is currently a Flume Nominee and isn’t eligible. Gail Zachariah, Keene Public Library

I think this book was on the Flume list last year (I may have commented then, too). I think this series is great, although I really think that only City of Bones is a stand-alone. I think it would appeal to both boys and girls. This year I’ve seen an increase in its popularity at my library, possibly because the high school used it for their book club. – Katie Spofford, Wadleigh Memorial Library, Milford, NH

I’ve read past my 50 page requirement, and the book is definitely interesting – especially for teens. I couldn’t keep reading because I lost interest and had other books required. Anyway, I think it has a good place on the list. Our library’s teens have been pretty interested in the book.
