FlumeAward – Nimona Nimona by Noelle Stevenson
Seriously so much love for this book. It’s funny and full of action. Very fitting for fans of fantasy, adventures, good vs. evil, comedy and of course graphic novels. I would love to see this one make the final list.

I’m with Brittany. This book has crossed my radar several times, but a teen recently reviewed it for my weekly email to patrons, so I HAD to finally read it. Nimona captivated me. She was a funny, irreverent, and highly likable character. Also loved both Blackheart and Goldenloin’s characters, and the story was engaging, unique, had many surprises and developed from a refreshing story to one that became more complex and deeply interesting. I absolutely could not turn off the light until I had finished it, then popped out of bed to check for a sequel – it was that good! Very appropriate for this list, and I think it simply MUST be among the chosen 10. 🙂

Another vote for the top 10! I love the perspective of a "super-villain." I love the body-positivity – Nimona is a shapeshifter but she is cool with her curvy form. It’s super-funny, the ending leaves the reader with lots to think about. The artwork is deceptively raw and all of the characters are complex. – Liz Gotauco, Merrimack PL
