FlumeAward – Paranormalcy Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
My book club loved this. A vampire type book but funny, has a cute love story, and a very believable main character, Evie, who is angry that she was born into her role as a paranormal hunter for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. She would rather be a "normal" teenager, go to proms, and have a boyfriend. She falls for a shape-shifter, who may be at the heart of a plot to destroy the IPCA, and the world. Not high lit, but Evie is a character you will root for.

This was a very fun paranormal story. I agree that Evie is a character you will root for. Evie was a strong female lead and I would love to see this one the list.

This was on the TTT list last year so I don’t think it should be on the Flume list. I had fun with the book, but those of us who promote the TTT have already promoted this book.

I didn’t expect to like this, but it is served up with some wonderful characters and a healthy side dish of humor. This would be a great addition to the list. Sharon Flesher – Nashua High South
