FlumeAward – Saving Max Discussion page for Saving Max by Antoinette van Heugten
Just read this yesterday, and I really liked it. It’s over the top and reads like a movie and every cliched/coincidence that you can imagine is in there, but it all actually works. Teens would learn about autism (and I think they would like it better than House Rules – sorry, Jodi Picoult!) Short chapters, a lot of action, and the thriller aspect of this murder mystery should appeal to teens.
