I liked this book on a lot of levels. It is historical fiction during the time of Hitler’s regime, but the interesting part was really about Max Schleming and the world of boxing woven in. I am not a boxing fan per se so kudos to the author for holding my interest. This book has nearly all male characters and I’m wondering if boys will like this book. It IS a book worth discussing for political, historical, and ethical reasons. I give it a good solid 4 stars and strongly recommend it makes the Flume nomination list.Kathy WatsonKimball Library, Atkinson
