FlumeAward – The Invention of Hugo Cabret Discussion page for The Invention of Hugo Cabret
This is a really good book, but I just can’t get teens interested in it. Some teens have told me the cover is too childish looking. The few who have agreed to read it liked it, but they weren’t recommending it to their peers.

Although this was an interesting and beautifully illustrated book, I can’t see it on the Flume list. It’s really for a much younger audience. Again, kids aren’t really looking to read it at our library either.
