I actually read it 3 times to decide for myself if the author was brilliant or just lazy. It&#8217;s an allegory so many kids might not get it. If you want Holocaust literature, there are far better books out there.<br \/>Kelly Budd<br \/>Keene High School<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed how this book took a completely different approach to dealing with the Holocaust. The developing relationship between the animal characters and the men composing the story created a unique environment that will make readers think.
