In fact if I remember right, (I read them over the summer) each book leaves unresolved questions/issues that are not answered until the final book.
Chris
Nashua Public Library

I agree- great series, but each is VERY dependent on previous books. Neither is a stand-alone.
Lucia
Wiggin Memorial Library (Stratham)

My students and I loved this series-very popular- but they need to be read in order to make sense of the plot. Beth- Laconia High School

I agree with everyone. This is a great series for teens, but they hang together a s a series. Sally Nelson, Leach Library

I also agee. These are great stories. However, each book is just a continuation of the next and as suc they really ought to be considered as a unit which makes nominating just one for this award difficult.
Mindy Flater
Salisbury Free Library

FlumeAward – City of Ashes and City of Glass Discussion page for City of Ashes and City of Glass by Cassandra Clare (Can these series books stand alone?)
