I think this series is great, although I really think that only City of Bones is a stand-alone. I think it would appeal to both boys and girls. This year I&#8217;ve seen an increase in its popularity at my library, possibly because the high school used it for their book club. &#8211; Katie Spofford, Wadleigh Memorial Library, Milford, NH<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read past my 50 page requirement, and the book is definitely interesting &#8211; especially for teens. I couldn&#8217;t keep reading because I lost interest and had other books required. Anyway, I think it has a good place on the list.
