I couldn’t stand the scattered dialogue, the story itself, nor the main character. I would not recommend putting this one on the final nominee list. As I mentioned in other reviews, other titles would be more worthy. I will admit that I didn’t continue beyond my 50 page rule, but I couldn’t have cared less about this ridiculous book. I apologize to anyone who enjoyed it; it’s just not my cup of tea, and I can’t picture teens give a hoot about this book!
Lisa Houde \/ Rye Public Library<\/p>\n
I thought that this was almost like a modern-day Canterbury Tales. It was long, drawn-out and boring to me. I thought the main character was going to be a strong female, but she ended up completing this difficult pilgrimage only to come home and feel satisfied that she got the guy in the end.
