The humor is fun and it&#8217;s fast paced. It&#8217;s not great writing, but the kids like it, and it feels like you are watching a movie when you read it.<br \/>&#8211; Kelly Budd, KHS<\/p>\n<p>I agree. I prefer this to <em>Unknown soldier<\/em> which was extremely violent. I am not sure which one would have widest appeal in our High School audience?<br \/>Sally Nelson &#8211; Leach Library, Londonderry<\/p>\n<p>Daniel X: Alien Hunter is the graphic novel version of The Dangerous Days of Daniel X (from what I can tell from reviews- we own the latter but not the graphic novel). These are good &quot;trojan horse&quot; books- an accessible book for reluctant readers, lots of action, looks like a big read but goes by quickly. You may feel like you&#8217;ve read it all before, but it&#8217;s fun anyway. The graphic novel seems to be for Grade 5 and up. Perhaps these titles could actually go on the list together if Daniel X is chosen for the final list?
