It is a very strong book in the fantasy genre. I believe it is a stronger book that the last in the saga and should be a top 13.

With so many other well-written books available for the Flume, it’s sad that Meyer’s books appear each year, and one of them will probably win! It should be on the list because of the insanity over the series, but I wonder how much one needs to read the previous two to fully appreciate the book (such as it is). I would say this one is my "favorite" of the four. It thought it had better pacing, the characters seemed a bit more developed, and the plot was more interesting as well. Might as well throw in the towel and get it on the list!
Lisa Houde / Rye Public Library

I don’t feel like these titles can be read out of order. And yes, I know they are very popular, but when it comes right down to it, this is one of the nomination criteria we agreed on when we first met. Let’s stick to the rules and follow the protocol for series books.
Pat Adams/Chesley Memorial Library

Pat has a great point; this one doesn’t really stand alone – so it shouldn’t be considered.
