Despite this, Lucia is correct: because it is third in the series, I feel it would be a difficult book to pick up and read as a first novel. &#8211; Wally Keniston &#8211; Bruce Smith Memorial Library, Oyster River High School, Durham, NH 1\/24\/2013<\/p>\n<p>The third book in a series, this book does not stand alone and, yes, it is a little on the young side.<br \/>Heidi Grant, Nashua North High School, 1\/28\/13<\/p>\n<p>Although there is a lot of recapping throughout the book, and I love it, there&#8217;s not enough recapping to make this book stand alone. It relies far too much on both the first two books in this series, and the Percy Jackson series.
