The books really build on one another.
Sally Nelson, Leach Library<\/p>\n
This is actually book 1 of the Seven Realms Series. I do not know if this new series is related to her Heir Series. I haven’t read the Heir Series, but I read this one, and it never occurred to me that I was missing anything by not having read the other series. It is a decent fantasy story, without too much boring world-building. It would appeal to both boys and girls, as the story goes back and forth between two main characters: Han and Raissa. It’s a clean read, but definitely appropriate for high school-aged teens.
Kirsten Rundquist Corbett, Lane Library <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
FlumeAward – The Demon King Discussion page for The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima This is a good sci-fi\/fantasy novel, and well written.
