Boy Nobody

FlumeAward – Boy Nobody Boy Nobody by Allen Zadoff

This book started out very oddly, with the mc overthinking teen dynamics, but when I learned that he was a teen assassin who regularly infiltrated normal teenage life, in order to target teens parents, it made sense. I found myself drawn into this boy’s predicament, caring about his past, and his crisis of conscience. This would probably appeal to both boys and girls, if you can talk them into reading it. This is an obvious boy book, though. Suitable for older teens, due to sexuality, violence, and murder. I was not curious enough about Zach to want to read more in the series, so I don’t recommend it for the Flume if there are better boy books on the list. -Kirsten Rundquist Corbett, Sandown Public Library
