FlumeAward – Freeze Frame Discussion page for Freeze Frame
This novel does have teen appeal. The premise of the book is that a boy gets shot by his best friend, but the best friend throughout the book cannot recall if he meant to do it or if it was an accident. You see the what the shooter goes through as well as his family. You see how peers treat him as well as how he deals with his counselor, family, and family of the victim. I would recommend this to either boys or girls. I think it could be on the final list.

I ordered this book per a teens request and they absolutely loved it and everyone else who she has suggested it to loved it. This is a good book for both male and female high school students. -B.Moore Hall Memorial Library
I agree this book will appeal to both males and females which in YA lit is sometimes hard to find. – Susan Seabrook Library
