FlumeAward – Game of Kings – A Year Among the Oddballs and Geniuses Who Make up America’s Top High School Chess Team Discussion page for Game of Kings: A Year Among the Oddballs and Geniuses Who Make up America’s Top High School Chess Team
I kept trying to picture who would be interested in this slow moving book about the chess players from a particular school. Some of the players were quirky, and it was mildly interesting how the school became chess champion magnet. Would not choose for the list.

I absolutely loved this book, and have recommended it to quite a few people, but like Sharon I just can’t see too many teens reading this book. I don’t think it should be on the final list, but it is a good read. I actually was laughing out loud at the gym while reading it and had people ask what I was reading.
