FlumeAward – Generation Dead Discussion page for Generation Dead by Daniel Waters
Intereresting way to look at "disabilities" without actually saying it….the story had great potential but I felt it fell short of what it could have been….horror story or social commentary? I guess I wanted the author to pick one and run with it. -Amy Inglis, Barrington
I absolutely agree with Amy – I wish the author had committed to one or the other. This has been very popular here.Kristin Whitworth, Shortridge Academy, Milton, NH
Well written involving story in a new genre, Zombie fiction. Good characters. I saw it as a way to open dialogue about discrimination with teens. Very popular at our library. This one is always out.
-Stephanie Piro, Goodwin Library, Farmington
I liked this book, and I think it could be worthy of the final list. -Sarah Foster, Hooksett Public Library, Hooksett NH
Zombies are hot, and this book has been around for quite a while; there are three in the series now. Teens girls like it. Is it too old to be on the list?
