Synopsis: Sam’s life is falling apart – her alcoholic mother ends up in rehab as a part of a court-suggested program after a DUI, a girl from her church is abducted one day after church, and her father is ministering to everyone but Sam. Sam’s faith has been waning for some time and she wishes to return to the faith that she had as a child.
Review: This book offers realistic characters and the youth group piece is offered so realistically. I loved the statement, "Everything for The Youth has exclamation points" which is just the way I remembered it. The story isn’t bad – it would appeal to those who like lifetime movies especially girls. I’m not sure that I would add it to the list – but then I am NOT a fan of lifetime movies. Sara Zarr is popular with teen girls. Personally, I think her plots are overdone.

Here is another one of those books that I can say I enjoyed and girls will enjoy, but it is completely forgettable. Not list-worthy.
