I know the character is 15, but the book feels younger than that to me.

I loved the beginning and the end, but the middle was tied up with a whole lot of angsty boy-crazy stuff, which didn’t seem in character for Carly, who was, for the most part, a strong, sure-of-herself young woman.
I listened to the audiobook, which was great -the narrator did a great job with the Georgia accent, and the different character voices. The pacing and emotion were fabulous, too.
Definitely a girl book, but, I would say, age appropriate for high school. 3/8/12
