FlumeAward – Saving June Saving June by Hannah Harrington
I found this one a bit clichéd and predictable. There was enough to keep me a but interested, but overall felt a bit lackluster. I think there are much better books about grief out there and this one just fell a bit flat for me. Others have seemed to love it though, so maybe I’m in the minority. I just think there are better books out there on the same topic.

I agree. There was nothing new in this book and it left me with a serious case of deja-vu. With the excellent books we have to choose from this year, I don’t think this one deserves a place on the final list. Sally Nelson, Leach Library, Londonderry
