I admit, I was a little worried about convincing my after school group that Keva Planks were super cool. However, they did not need convincing. We used them on two separate occasions. The first time they were ranked as cooler than Magformers, but not as cool as Ozobots. The second time they ranked higher than light up Christmas cards and Ozobots. They turned down Ozobots to play with blocks! I was amazed. The first round they played Jenga and made structures out of the book that came with the kit. The second round they decided to free build. One girl built a couch, coffee table, and chair, and the boys built a fortress. They also built a pretty impressive tower (for the sole purpose of knocking it down after, obviously). Keva Planks, definitely 5 stars.
